dr. ir. André Veltman

André Veltman graduated at the department of electrical engineering at the University of Twente. He received his PhD on converter-machine interaction at the Delft University of Technology in 1995. André continued with a Post doc assignment at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUe), granted with a fellowship of The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) of which he spend a year at WEMPEC, University of Wisconsin Madison, USA. André stayed connected with the TUe as a part-time assistant professor, while starting up Piak in 1997. André is the founder and director of Piak.

ir. Paul van der Hulst

Paul van der Hulst received his MSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Twente. He started designing high voltage power supplies for ion accelerators at High Voltage Engineering B.V. in Amersfoort. Since 1998 Paul works for Piak where he specializes in system analysis, -simulation and -control of switching systems such as class-D amplifiers and inverter-fed brushles machines. Paul is the main contact for (embedded-)software development (C/C++, Matlab).

drs. Marlies Biemans

Marlies Biemans received her MSc on Business Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1995. She worked as a senior financial analyst in the financial and banking sector. She also holds a BA in History of the University of Utrecht. Marlies is responsible for all non-technical issues at Piak.
